I am pleased to report that our CNY celebration on Feb 10 was another huge success!   Over 60 people including kids joined in and everyone was so happy to find the Chinese New Year's feeling again! 

First of all, many Thanks to Wen/Feng and Zhang/Chun for organizing this great gathering, and our purchasing agents
 Wen Feng, Zhang Yingqun and Liu Ying.  
 As well as to those who brought delicious appetizers

 Cui Jialing,  Zhong Weixiong with candy, melon seed and other snacks,

Dumpling –

Our 100% hand made dumpling process was unbelievable smooth and efficient.  Many volunteers arrived early with tools and prepared ingredients: 
 Wang Chang & Zhu /xiaoming, Qi Yunqian & Zhao Haiying, Wang Nairu & Zhang Yingqun brought their home made Dough;
 Zhao Haiying, Wen Feng & Professor Chem Momei made super tasty meat and vegetable. 
 We found so many high level skillful dumpling skin maker: Zhang weijie, Cui Jialing, Liu Xinrong, Wang Nairu, Zhao Haiying, Wang Chang, Zhi Jing, ...  They spread over to several work stations, surrounded by filling makers.  The whole process operated so smoothly that many trays of beautiful dumplings lined up within half an hour.  Even with three boiling pots, we could hardly keep up with their speed.  The delicious, fresh home made dumpling brought many of us back to childhood memories. 

Talent show /Karaoke -
 Jennifer (wang Zhan's daughter) played piano at the professional level
 Wu Yuxiang played flute 
 Karaoke started from Xiong Liping, followed by many new stars: Zhang Chun, Yang Bin, Cheng Biao, Shi Yongxia, Zhang Xiyun and more.  Everyone scored over 90 points, with Lu Bin's husband singing the top score of 97!
We had so much fun stayed till 5 PM.

There were some hiccups, but nothing that our warm family couldn't fix!
 Wang Li forgot to bring prepared meat but Wang Zhan quickly made some vegetarian meat,
 Our professional photographer brought his super camera but forgot his batteries, so Lina Li and Mark whipped out with their camera
 Zhang Xiyun brought her Karaoke, forgot remote control.  Yang Bin went to home right away brought his set. 

What a BNU family!  Thank you all!

Thanks Zhang Chun's financial report, with all our FREE skillful labor, we made a “profit” after all. 

We also have two new members: Zhang wenyue and Li Tieniu.   Welcome to the BNU family!

More good news, we will be seeing our youngest new members soon
 Zhang Chun & Chen Xiaohui will have a baby in May
 Zhou Yun will have a baby in July. 
 Congratulation to them!
