Dear BNU friends,

 

This Sunday, about 30 alumni including children met at Shanghai Gourmet at 11:30  for a long lunch that ended after 1PM.  There was an over-abundance of food, and everyone left with full stomachs plus take out.

 

After lunch the group gathered into 7 cars and drove to the Little Farm in Tilden Park.  There, the children fed the farm animals vegetables that Xie Meng brought while the adults chatted in the shade.

 

Xie Meng then guided us along a beautiful trail around Lake Anza to enjoy the fresh air and gorgeous view.  It was perfect weather for hiking and Wan Haishan's baby was sound asleep on his back during the entire  hike.  All of us had a wonderful & relaxed time.

 

Many thanks to Prof Chen Momei and Prof Zhang AnHe who gave us a large present: A photo copy of famous drawings by Xu BeiHong and Qi, BaiShi, as well as famous calligraphy from their grand father.  Wang, Haishan will scan it for sharing shortly.

Also, $ 100 was donated to our group.
