03-14-2004 Gathering

On March 14, 2004, our BNU alumni had a major gathering
at San Jose State University campus. About 30 people (including kids) joined, it was really great.

First, the previous members of board directors had a short meeting to nominate the candidates for new board members.

Then we had wonderful potluck lunch to have an opportunity to taste a wide variety of delicious food, dish, cake, cookie and fruits.

During the lunch time, Wang Li gave past two years - Mar 2002 - 2004 work report
( Liu Feng will make the report accessible shortly), then we voted on and established our new members of board directors, of course with more new members than in the past!

Professor Wang Binglin and Professor Wei Hong brought us up to date information about our mother university, BNU. and we had a freely open Q & A and discussion session. Topics range from the opportunity of returning to China for career development to make investment in China, next generation's Chinese culture education, ... with very rich contents and very informative.

Great thanks go to Professor Hu Xiaolu, she provided a nice, decent place for our gathering! All adults had a pretty formal "oval table meeting" to share information while our kids had great time enjoying their favorite movies.
