06-06-2004 Picnic
Dear BNU Alumni,
Yesterday we had an excellent gathering with beautiful weather and an enormous
participation - close to 50 people! It was non-stop fun from 11:30AM until 5PM. Our lunch was truly a banquet with an
astonishing amount of food included 2 large containers and 3 whole watermelons.
Many thanks to Zhao Hai Ying who brought an assortment of sports equipment and
a tent especially for the kids to play in. Yang Bin carried 2 case of water
bottle plus two huge water melons for us, Zhang Ying Qun and Lina Li provided
us with the volley ball and arranged our "first try out" volley ball
practice.
WE discovered two of our next generation of players as our future resource:
Charlie - Shi Yong Xia's son
Da Bao - Zhao Hai Ying's son
We were so glad to meet our newest alumni members:
Zhang Chun
Liu Bao Xia -
Xie Gang -
Ji Xue Hai - Thanks for being our ad hoc coach and have a
good trip back to China

14th. We have more participants this year for a very strong team! I
hope even more people will sign up to play for our BNU mother school!
Please check the info below and sign up the individual events asap.
Besides individual events, as a group, we plan to sing up for the 16x100
relay race, volley ball and soccer, depends on the schedule.
On the relay side, we already have 13 people signed up. We need at least
3 more people to join for a full team! If you are interested, please
email to Zhang Yingqun at goodjob1@yahoo.com!
Thank you all for coming and supporting us!
