Dear BNU Alumni,
Thank you all for coming this Sunday! Zhao Hai-Ying found a wonderful
place for the picnic and the weather was perfect.
Over 40 people joined us! We brought a large assortment of delicious
foods. The children played well in the tent and sports equipment and the
adults had a wonderful chat.
Thanks to Zhao Ming and his wife who shared their very valuable advice in
raising their well educated daughter, who accepted by Stanford and still keeps
a very close relationship with them.
Li Ying and Zong Kang La shared their experience from teaching their children
who had no Chinese to very fluent within a short period. Everyone was
very involved in the discussion about their children, dealing with teenagers,
and the differences in raising boys versus raising girls.
Everyone showed surpport by participating in the athletic competition.
Please remember to fill out the application and mail it out as
soon as possible! Winning is not so important, participating is.
Don't forget to ask your friends and families to join! Let's have

returning vcds, over 20 movies and TV series were rented out. New

Thanks for bring all the delicious foods such as spicy beef tendons, fried
rice, sushi, house sandwiches, cold noodles, beef traps, chicken feet, cucumber
salad, pasta, chow fun, chips, fruit nectar and soda, and a lot more.
Also, we cannot forget Zong Kang La and Cai Zheng Lian's watermelons,
which everyone enjoyed!
