Last Saturday, the North Californian Chinese Athletic Competition's opening ceremony began just after 5pm.  Although there wasn't as much advertising as last year, there was tremendous participation, with many diverse groups that brought unique uniforms and flags.

 

Our group met before hand with Duan Dong Ling arriving first.  Like last year, everyone was very supportive and many stayed to enjoy the concerts after the ceremony that went on until 10pm.
