Dear BNU friends,
Sorry for the late report.
Last Sunday, Oct 16, over 20 alumni meet at Qingzhen
YangJiaZhuang at noon for a long lunch that ended after 2 PM. Besides the excellent food, we all got chance
to talk each other and exchange info. Exchange
info could be quite valuable - Xu Han’s new job at Cisco was referred by Dun,
Dongling because they shared info during last hiking session in Feb (at
Berkeley). So, we encourage everyone to join the gathering as much as you
can.
After lunch the group gathered to carpool and drove to
the Coyote Regional Park. It was perfect
weather for hiking; we fully utilized cell phone technology when we took the
puzzle-like trails. Zheng Xiaoling’s family
were the outdoors pioneers and quickly pulled ahead. After the puzzle trial, we had enough energy to
hike the hill and enjoy the beautiful Bay view. Chen Xiaohui led us
through a short cut on the way back to successfully make a BRAND NEW
trail. All of us had a good work out and a relaxing time.
Thanks Liu, Ying for arranging this gathering, Sun,
Xiaobing being our tour guide and picked the wonderful, cozy restaurant. Thanks
everyone for joining and supporting us!
