11-10-2002 Lunch
Dear BNU friends,
Thank you very much for coming to the lunch gathering today! It was a big surprise that over thirty people came despite the storm, including our senior alumni Mr. Gao and Professor Chen and Professor Zhang. We had an excellent buffet with calm environment and a wide selection of foods. We made new friends with new alumni. Thank you, Zhao Ming, for selecting the restaurant.
Our VCD Sharing club had a great "grand opening" with many VCDs rented out. Special thanks to:
Mr. Gao who donated $200 to our alumni
Zhao Hai Ying (Econ 85) who donated $300
Teng Yung (Chemistry) and Suin Xiao Bing (Math) donated many Vcds
I am thinking that we will bring the VCDs with each gathering and we will share them for your convenience.
With all of your heartfelt support, we are encouraged to work harder for our alumni. As suggested, we will plan on a skiing outing in January 2003.
Thanks to Zou Ying and her husband for making the online VCD sharing website. Chen Xiao Hui for being in charge of VCD rental work and maintaining the website, which are both very time consuming.
